Mount Taranaki Summit Track (through trail)
A variation to the popular there and back summit routes allowing a one way journey. Enjoy a break at Syme hut before the final push to the summit or as a well deserved stop after journeying down from it.
This is an advanced route which is longer than the standard summit trail and with sections unmarked. It is recommended that lockboxes be used to return keys on this trail incase the parties do not meet.

The party who lists their trip will detail the approximate starting point of their drive from home so a meeting location which benefits both of you can be chosen. Suggested locations include:
